Dear Bilbo,

Ah!! I'm so excited!! I get to start off a new journal, and of course the past week has been filled with much enjoyment and wondrous things. But first, we must christen the new journal.

HI BILBO!! Yes, well, can you tell I'm a bit excited this time around in writing? It really has been kind of amazing how things have come about and changed and evolved and oh goodness! So exciting! But welcomes all around to Bilbo, journal number two! This of course is again the first page of twenty-five in this journal, so after his one, he and I will have twenty four more days today before we must say good-bye. But that is a long way off and not to be dwelled on at this time.

So my big news is this: I'm the new Second-in-Command of EGoV!!! Isn't that exciting! I'm so excited, but also a bit nervous as well seeing as now I really need to be the best leader I can be and encourage others to do their best. I also really need to work on the whole giving constructive criticism without really offending anyone. Definitely need work in that area.  But it really is exciting and I am going to do my best at it and serve the guild to the best of my ability.

In reality, my duties don’t change all that much.  I just have the same loads as I did before, but my title changed just a bit. It’s still exciting!!

Oh!  Other tidbit of news to tell you.  Recently it seems the positions for the Assistant Chancellor to the AoRG Magic Shop became vacant.  While I did not ask questions as to the reasoning for this vacancy, I am taking the opportunity to step out and offer my voluntarism to aid Chancellor Jasmine in keeping up the inner workings of the Magic Shop.  I would so love the opportunity to really spend some of my time developing new classes, assisting new Magi with enhancers, their learnings, and so much more!!  I just will keep my fingers crossed that I actually get the position, as I am sure there will be others interested as well.

I also got to get in some dart games the other night with Creed.  He was in quite the happy mood to play with me, though I am swearing off tequila for quite a while.  We played some Drunken Daggers Friday night, and he must have been drinking some pretty strong stuff, so I switched to tequila, which pretty much knocked me out.  The next night we skipped the alcohol and just went skill-versus-skill with regular darts.  He beat me both times that night!  I will practice though while he’s away on leave for the next two weeks.  I shall beat him in the next game!

Oooooo….there is the bottom of the page already.  Seems I must be off to get more done and maybe get some sleep tonight before my long week begins.

Brianne A. Alcinoos
